How to Help an Eren Out

Hi!  So, after years of paranoid anxiety driving me to try and do everything myself, I’m finally putting in the effort to admit that I need help.

Some of that comes in the form of emotional support from my close friends and family.  Some of it is professional.  Some of it is medicinal. >.>

But what can you do to help, you ask?

Quite a lot, actually.  I’ve never really shaken the feeling that my close friends and family have to be biased about my writing.  I know it’s not true (though habit still makes me want to qualify that somehow) but what I know and how I feel don’t always line up.  If you enjoy the stories, please leave some comments – anywhere that you particularly enjoyed a section, I’d love to hear about it!

In a similar vein, these stories are kind of rough-drafty.  I do my best to edit when I’m typing them, and I have a friend who does additional read throughs and editing – but if you spot something in one of the posts that needs corrected, please let me know!  I’ll be happy to fix it. 🙂

I’d also greatly appreciate it if you recommended the stories you enjoy to anyone you think might also enjoy them.  I’m not saying to spam forums or anything, but so far I think I’ve gotten most of my readers by word of mouth recommendations.

Or, if you want a more structured way to go about making those recommendations, you can always leave a review on one of the sites that lists web serials, or on Amazon or Smashwords.  I’ll put some links for that here, once I’ve gathered them up.

(Coming soon!)

What about financial contributions, you wonder?

I’m glad – and somewhat flabbergast – you asked!  Right now I am not breaking even with my writing, I’m sad to say.  Fortunately, my only expenses at the moment are for the site and domain name – but I would like to be able to cover that, and to hire an editor, purchase better cover art, eventually pay my rent and bills; put something toward my transition expenses… things like that.

So if you want to contribute financially, there are a few ways you can do so.

You can always buy one of my eBooks – that’s why they’re there!  (Also, they’re probably somewhat more convenient to read on the go, if you have an e-reader.)

You could setup a recurring donation with Patreon.  I’m planning on putting out the equivalent of an extra Midnight Moonlight chapter for every 90$ raised — and any ‘extra’ will roll over and be included in the next month’s total.

Or, you could always buy me something off my Amazon Wishlist.  I’ll count the price of those purchases toward the bonus posts as well.

Oh!  And I’m a huge fan of reading and independent authors in general, but I can never seem to find the spare funds for as many books as I’d like.  So if you’re a writer and you send me a copy of your eBook, or a coupon to get a free copy, I’ll count it as 10$ added to the recurring donations as soon as I’m done reading it. 😀  I might even write a review or offer some feedback for you, myself.
